The Diamond State Digital Network is an Arkansas amateur radio club primarily focused on digital modes and technical experimentation. We aren't a traditional club; instead we like to keep things informal and technical. Most of our members are also members of at least one other local club.

Current Projects

Our main project is the installation of the N5DSD D-STAR repeater on Shinall Mountain in Little Rock, Arkansas. The machine is a 2 meter repeater using DPlus, open now for local use at 147.480 MHz with a -2.500 offset.

The gateway to the D-STAR global network will be available soon. We also plan to add 70cm capability soon.

Additionally, we are working on a point-to-point IP network between repeater sites.  The idea is to give hams a network on which to connect repeaters, connect to each other, or really anything else that can be done with a high-speed IP network. This network is being built with off the shelf 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz, and 5.7 GHz gear.
